“Dancing With The Devil” is a single by American girl group ‘CLEO’, marking the fourth official single by the five-piece pop group since their debut back in January 2026, it also marks the final single to be released from their upcoming debut E.P ‘Introduction CLEO’ which is expected to drop immediately following the release of this final single from the debut project. Their latest offering follows on from previous singles, “Forever, Stronger, Together”, “Wildest Dreams” and “The Hurt” which all managed to crack the top five of the singles chart upon release and help to showcase the varying range and styles of the music industries latest girl group, with their first release being an rnb influenced ballad, it’s follow-up being a high energy electronic influenced dance-pop track and their most recent release falling into complete pop ballad territory. This has led the girl group to receiving a lot of praise from fans and industry names alike which has generated a buzz around the group ahead of the release of their debut E.P, as well as build anticipation for their eventual debut album.

It’s expected that their debut album will follow in late 2026 or early 2027 as the group are currently in the studio crafting what will become their debut full length release, having already completed the recording of their ‘Introducing CLEO’ E.P in early March 2026 ahead of its April 2026 release. Their latest offering “Dancing With The Devil” was written in January 2026 by songwriter Abella Diaz alongside group members Leilani Monet, Olivia Monroe and Oriana Cruz and the track was produced by renowned Latin-pop producer BLOOM, who had previously produced their second single “Wildest Dreams” and returns to the production booth on this latest single from the group. With the track set to be the final single from their ‘Introducing CLEO’ E.P, it’s hoped that it can follow in the same positive response of their first three efforts up to this point.

The track will be released through Royale Vices & Virtues INC and made available as a digital download as well as being made available to weekly airplay and worldwide streaming across all major streaming platforms from April 26, 2026.

Song Description;

The track opens with a sultry, bass-lead instrumental grove that immediately establishes the songs more playful and seductive tone, with soundscapes that the track a summer or Latin-influenced vibe. A synth riff repeats over a soft beat and additional soft percussion can be heard, giving the instrumental a laid-back but infectious tone. The production immediately sets the mood, confident, teasing with a little hint at danger as Olivia Monroe kicks things off with repeated, seductive phrasing of “Mmm Mhm Mmm” tones and Oriana following up each tone with “Oh” ad-lib’s alongside them, giving the track an intro to intrigue listeners and bring them immediately into the track’s flirtatious tone.

As the first verse begins, the lead vocal from Tiana Monet enters with a smooth, self-assured delivery. Carrying a tone that balances sweetness in the vocal delivery but the underlying hint at mischief within it’s lyrical content as she sings the opening portion of the first verse, “He said he thought I was an angel/Oh boy, don’t you listen/Nice lips, pretty face, great figure/But I told you I’m a danger/Cause I love the attention, yeah, I’m a fiend for misbehaviour.” which immediately establishes the narrative, essentially rejecting the “perfect girl” archetype in favour of something a little more unpredictable without veering into graphic and adult lyricism. As Tiana finishes her half of the opening verse, she’s immediately followed by her sister Leilani who’s vocal delivery is powerful and immensely alluring as she leans into themes of self-awareness and playful rebellion, “Ain’t nobody perfect/I ain’t looking for a saviour/Just someone to have some fun with/Someone on my level/Just someone I can run with/Yeah, have a little fun with the devil.” which feels like it’s delivered with a charm rather than as a actual warning.

The songs pre-chorus hook arrives, following on from the closing sentiments of the opening verse perfectly as the music rises in melody and rhythm with Chloe Rae Brooks delivering in her softer, more subtle flirtatious tones as opposed to the clear seductiveness heard in Leilani’s vocal delivery, Chloe sings “I just want to have some fun/I don’t wanna be an angel/I ain’t perfect/I like the danger/Let’s not rush this, let’s be young.” which acts as the mission statement of the song, with the vocal arrangement expanding to create a sense of underlying youthful exuberance rather than full on sexuality. The vocal delivery from Chloe is immediately followed by a chorus that see’s all the girls sing in harmony.
As the chorus hits, the production fully leans into it’s mainstream pop appeal. The beat becoming punchier, the bassline more dominant and the vocal harmonies between all the girls help to create a fuller more anthemic sound. “I just like to have some fun, don’t put your halo on me/I never wanna be a perfect angel/It just ain’t in my destiny/I ain’t perfect, I like the danger/If you can keep up then you can vibe with me/Come on boy, try to get on my level/You could have so much fun, dancing with the devil/So much fun/Dancing with the devil.” which feels catchy and rhythmic in way that feels almost tailor-made for radio and nightclub play throughout the summer.

The second verse see’s a slight pullback in the instrumental, bringing back a minimal tone while allowing a more intimate vocal back and forth between Olivia and Oriana, their uniquely different tones from one another creating a memorable moment within the song as Olivia sings, “Nobody really wanna play it serious/Always drawn to the flame.” which is immediately followed up by Oriana as she sings, “I like to keep things a little more mysterious/We don’t even need to know names.” which combined with her vocal delivery, adds an extra layer of seductiveness to the song before Olivia continues in that vibe, “Let’s keep this to one night/A perfect memory.” while Oriana follows up once more, adding emphasis to Olivia’s sentiments, “Never to be replicated/Only ever repeated in my wildest dreams.” adding a slight playful tongue-in-cheek tone to the track’s overall flirty nature. We arrive with another pre-chorus hook provided by Chloe Rae Brooks once more, which then follows back into the songs chorus, sung by all the girls in harmony once more before the song fades out to it’s infectious beat and energy.
