Alicia Lena and DeAndre Patton arrive at the afterparty with their friend Ashford York and his colleague Maliah Aguilar. They greet a handful of familiar faces as they make their way into the venue, Ashford taking the opportunity to introduce himself to relative newcomer Jack Dunn and introduce the UK artist to Alicia and DeAndre who both acknowledge that they’re a fan of the new artist. After some friendly interaction Alicia, DeAndre and Ashford find a seating area in the main hall after the events of the 2026 Universal Music Awards. A waitress takes their drink orders while Maliah heads off somewhere else, mingling with people that she’s friendly with and doing her social butterfly thing.

After an introduction to Alicia Lena, Jack Dunn heads to the bar ordering himself a drink while Maliah stands beside him, waiting her turn to get a drink. She smiles at him, “Congratulations, you’ve had a good night, huh?” she says in reference to his performance and awards. He smiles back at her, “Aye, fucking crazy. Someone’s going to wake me up soon, I’m sure!” he says with a chuckle, exchanging some small talk with Maliah before taking his drink and heading to the private lounge area of the building.

Jadyn Ghalen makes his way into the main hall of the building, Kara Romero, Imani and Young Khalifa find an area for them to sit as a waitress heads over and takes their drink orders. Jadyn catches eye contact with Slim and Keshia, giving a nod of acknowledgement to his friends. Subtly letting them know there’s space at their booth if they wished to join them.

The girls from CLEO arrive at the venue, Leilani, Tiana and Chloe head to a booth while Olivia and Oriana head to the bar, of course they attempt to order alcoholic drinks but are refused due to them being under the legal drinking age in California. Olivia pats Milian on the shoulder and introduces herself, “Hey, sorry to bother you. I’m Olivia, I just wanted to let you know that your performance tonight was so fucking good.”

The Weekend boys gradually quieten down and begin to splinter off, making a beeline for some other people and their preferred areas of the venue. Dustyn sticks with Riley and slowly slinks down off his back, still very much clutching the UMA. The pair head towards the private lounge. "You done well, eh lad?" Riley pipes up as he spots Jack, heading over towards him with Dustyn in tow.

Billy makes himself at home, ordering a Jack and Coke and propping himself against the bar. He quietly surveys the goings on among the star of today.

Meanwhile, Danse finally makes his way to the venue after being in two minds about the whole thing. Tonight has been such a culture shock for him. While he has experienced a lot of success over the past six months, he has enjoyed it all from the comfort of his own home. His first time meeting a famous musician is done tenfold and at the UMA where it was also televised, not to mention he picked up an award and had to go up on stage. He's a rather confident person but still very much feels like a fish out of water.

Danse briefly makes eye contact with David and Natasha who seem to be looking over his way. Whether or not it is purely coincidental, Danse is always polite and full of old world charm. He tips his cowboy hat towards them as a sign of acknowledgement.

Billy, on the other hand, is less subtle. When he notices some of The Jollies greeting him from across the way, he raises his glass alongside his voice. "Hope you lot are getting absolutely wrecked tonight!" He bellows across the room before snickering and taking a drink.

Riley grins, feeling giddy and on an absolute high after the whirlwind of the night. He pats Jack's shoulder in return, genuinely happy to see his friend succeed. "Thanks, mate. All this time doing this shite and I don't think I've ever been bricking it as hard. That was something, eh?!" Riley chuckles and briefly looks around just surveying the chaos and good vibes in the room. "You did well, lad. I'm proud. Well deserved. It's been a great night for everyone."

Dustyn gives Jack a tight squeeze during the hug, always a very tactile and loving person. "You were incredible, Jack! How are you feeling after all that?"
