Precious is her third single from Tika May's upcoming third album "Precious Lover" which was released on July 24th under Imprint of Ruff Round Records and a exclusive management deal with La Familia.
Prior to releasing "Precious" Tika just released her first single "Dance in 2022 and she already has a planned to release her album in 2023 of summer but however she put the plan on hold due to desire to have her own protege and manage her own artist as she secretly launched her private company called "So Pleasure Entertainment" it could potential to be launch public soon and she went away for a while as she focus on her protege "Spicy Starz" she create an K-Pop girl group and also to continue with her album session. She did appears in few events but haven't even release music since Oct 2022 for 2 years. in Jan 2025 she was announce that she'll be performing at UMA as she preparing for her new music to be release. Star managed to peak at number 2 again for the second time but she however had to delayed the album due to continue with her session to make sure her album is perfectly right as Ruff Round let her have her control of her album and letting her take a break at least from all the hard working of her protege and her third album. Originally "Put You Down" was gonna release as her third single but however she changed her mind at the last minute as she been wanting and waiting to put out "Precious" as her next single to make Tika personal favorite song from her album.
The song was written by Tika Mays and produced by Mike Sabath, Mr DJ Hurricane at recording studio "Hansa Studio" in Germany and was recorded in Jan 2024 the same month/year she recorded "Star" as she working with Mike during her session for her album "Precious Lover" and is has different sound from her other album as she going forward with the sound she going for. Tika made announcement about the album and with artwork of the album as well but single drop without announcement. "Precious" is about she one of those precious girl the guys they wanted to meet with but came with the prices as she doesn't like it when guys wanna leave her and making her goes crazy aka psycho.
