INFORMATION

"Supersize", stylised in all-caps, is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Andrea and British singer-songwriter Billy. The track was released on March 29th, 2026 through Pesky Records following an announcement two weeks prior and multiple 'teases' across social media. The release serves as the third official single to be lifted from Mason's as-of-yet untitled third studio album, set for release in 2026. It follows on from two #1 singles already lifted from the album campaign; "YA-YA" and "WET AMERICAN DREAM", respectively. "SUPERSIZE" marks the second time in which Andrea and Billy have collaborated on a single together, the first being 2017's "Something for the Fire" - a #1 hit lifted from Mason's second studio album "Southern Belle". Like its collaborative predecessor, the mere announcement of "SUPERSIZE" garnered much fanfare online alongside critical scepticism due to Mason and Khan's tumultuous public past. The ex-lovers engaged in a highly volatile and publicised relationship in the early 2010's, birthed a son together and have sporadically unfollowed and re-followed one another across social media platforms over the years. "SUPERSIZE" was produced by British-Kurdish DJ and producer, Khalil while Mason and Khan wrote their own lyrics, respectively.

"SUPERSIZE" is an upbeat, high octane and energetic "hyperpop" track. It continues to explore further into Andrea's recent ventures and experimentations with EDM music as the singer drifts further away from her Country music origins with each passing album cycle. It also marks Khan's first foray back into the world of electronic dance after briefly flirting with the scene as a guest vocalist on 2013's "The Energy", a #1 hit by famed DJ mISTER_b. "SUPERSIZE" boasts strong "hyperpop" and "europop" sounds, further broadening Andrea's musical scope as her earlier hits were more aligned with North American centric styles, namely County and Hip-Hop. The verses throughout "SUPERSIZE" contain rapid fire "speak-singing" lines that almost border on rapping, a skill that both artists have been known to showcase in their work albeit sporadically. The choruses, however, are sung with much more gusto as they utilise their powerful belting voices over brash and intensely produced "manic" and "euphoric" hyperpop beats. The song both opens and closes with Andrea and Billy exchanging a back and forth conversation with each other.

Lyrically, "SUPERSIZE" is a tongue-in-cheek and innuendo laden track akin to other workings within both artists' discographies. Both collaborations between Mason and Khan have centred around the breakdown of a toxic relationship, possibly alluding to and drawing inspiration from their own. While 2017's "Something for the Fire" lyrically focused on a yearning and introspective thoughts backed by "brooding" production, "SUPERSIZE" and its high energy takes a much more reckless and chaotic approach focusing on less talking and more action. In the track Andrea and Billy briefly pretend to go through the motions of having reservations about becoming intimately involved with one another again and make superficial promises of how it'll only be a one-off occasion. The heart of the track is the carnal abandon and acting impulsively, scratching an itch and doing what they want within the moment without much regard for the subsequent repercussions. The verses of the song are extremely sexually charged while the chorus nods towards their reckless behaviour and knack for making the wrong decisions.

Andrea wrote:
"There is nobody else that I could have had on this track. Doing this with Billy just made total sense. I wanted to work with him again for the longest time for so many reasons. There's obviously that trust there. You need that when you're writing. Whether it's something heavy or you're just wanting to be goofy, it really helps if there's someone you feel comfortable with in the room. I'm also a fan of his work and how he operates. He has a great balance of work and play. I vibe with it. He makes the studio such a great place to be and then he can switch, throw on his professional hat and get shit done in the booth instantly. It's sort of how I work too. Everything just gels. At least in studio hours. B and I work best together in small doses. Whew! We all know how that one goes! I also wanted to work with him again because we did a track together back in the day and, as great as the song was and I do love it, I felt like we had more to offer and that maybe the fans and spectators were expecting a different kind of track. I love that we subverted them all back in the day. It was really satisfying to prove a point. Now, however, I feel like we've teased everyone enough over the last decade. HERE is the hyper sexual, freaky as fuck song y'all been wanting!"

"I had no idea for what the song would be other than I wanted something messy and crazy. I had some beats from Khalil and I called Billy up. We pretty much built from the ground up. We were just chilling and talking and I can't remember how we got onto it but he mentioned the difference in the size of fast food drinks between here and in the UK. A medium soda here is like an extra large over there. We kind of joked and volleyed with that for a bit. You know, yelling "SUPERSIZE!" and a lot of food puns - just goofing off but the wheels were turning and little lightbulbs were flashing above our heads. We found the basis of "go big or go home" and just built on it from there and now we have this little freaky fucker of a song!"

Billy wrote:
"It was great to work with Andrea again. Obviously, we see each other a lot in our lives but being in the studio with her again just reminded me of how fucking insane and, if I'm honest, underrated she is as an artist. No denying her talents. She can give you the most heart breaking, gut punching ballad that has you in floods of tears and the next she's cooing down the mic about how wet her pussy gets. Duality, innit? Andrea can call on me and ask for whatever. She's the mother of my kid. Anything she wants or needs, it's a done deal but when she hit me up and said she wanted to do something insane and sexy? NOW you're talking! I feel like it's the move people expected us to make back when we did "Something for the Fire" together. I do enjoy giving people what they want but don't TELL me what to do. I'll do it in my own time. It's fun to keep them cucked, you know?"

"When we were writing the song, we both knew that eyes and ears would be on us purely because of our association alone. There's going to be standards, expectations and a bunch of stuff to live up to. We decided to take those caricatures and what people think they know about us and ran with it. We were known for being chaotic back in 2012 so we turned the chaos up to 100. Both our works can get very sexual so we amped the horn right up. It's on-the-nose, excessive, expletive. absolutely fucking and dare I even say a tad tasteless all over this mad fucking hyperpop beat. All the dials have been cranked up. It's Andrea and Billy in your ears and coming in fast and hot!"

Critical reception of "SUPERSIZE" has been mainly positive thus far with many reviewers highlighting the chemistry between Mason and Khan. Belinda Goodwin of The Fader dubbed it a "balls-to-the-wall, unequivocal pop banger ready-packaged for airplay but not at the cost of personality". Writing for The Guardian, Patrick Gould echoed similar sentiments in regards to the song showcasing the personalities of Mason and Khan, stating; "No other combination of pop heavy hitters could have pulled something as zany as "SUPERSIZE" off as the track is at the centre of the Venn diagram of what makes Andrea 'Andrea' and what makes Billy 'Billy'." Gould rounded off his review by awarding the track 4.5 stars out of 5 and claimed that every aspect of the song just made sense". Viola Wang compared it to Andrea and Billy's first collaboration and wrote: "While not as classy and timeless as "Something for the Fire", which was a brooding slow burn that still sounds as silky and polished 10 years on, "SUPERSIZE" does what it says on the tin. It's that guilty pleasure. That instant rush of e-numbers and calories. It's extra sweet, extra salt, deep-fried and served with a jumbo Coke. Would you like fries with your pulsating, sexually charged pop hit?"

Many critics also praised the vocal performances on the song as well as its production. Evan Marsh of Rolling Stone praised Andrea's foray into hyperpop. writing; The newfound pairing of Andrea and Khalil is proving to be a match made in Heaven as Ms. Mason once again effortlessly glides into another genre and digs her heels in with gusto, coming across as an artistic blueprint as opposed to a newcomer in the EMD field". Kyle Aspall from UK-based music webzine Drowned in Sound praised the "witty and sexy" lyrical content and described the back and forth between the singers as "the filthiest game of tennis to go on record, grunts and all!". Aspall also highlighted Billy's rap-sung verse, claiming: "You'd be forgiven for thinking this was Deneil upon your first listen but no, it's the golden-tongued Billy! He rhymes off his sexual desires with such a laidback confidence wrapped up with a slightly cocky-sounding vocal fry that is so natural you forget that rapping isn't actually his day job." Pitchfork critic Zainab Hussain selected the song as "Best New Track" at the time of its release and wrote; "While it doesn't reinvent the wheel - I mean, who doesn't have a sexy banger in their catalog let alone Andrea and Billy - but something about their chemistry and synergy upsells absolutely everything. They're giving us everything they've got and when it's pop giants of this calibre going all guns blazing...it's all supersized, indeed!"

BOTH
SPOKEN WORD

"B, you know we wild for this one!"

"And here was me thinking you like it that way. Hmm?"

Just wanna dive in, yawning at the small print
Skip the finer details, let's just jump into the good bit
A girl's got an appetite and cherry lips, take a bite
Delectable and unctuous, a mouth-watering delight
Therapist on speed dial, fuck an inch, I want the mile
No fun up on a high horse unless it starts to buck you wild
Too much contemplation, tired of conversations
I got what you want, so what's the goddamn complication?
My tongue over your teeth, hands upon what's underneath
Don't need mental stimulation, only one thing I'm wanting deep

Wrap around my bloodstream and all the spaces in between
Are we crazy for going here again? Yeah, probably!
But the tension's extra large and my horn is fully charged
It's just for tonight I do declare, solemnly

So supersize it!
Some may say that I get what I ask for
I'm at peace with being an attention whore
Picking the remnants off the bedroom floor
So supersize it!
Another round of "what could possibly go wrong?"
Did the thing and bleached my hair blonde
You know me, I'm just a lil' ticking timebomb
Tick, tick, tick on the bad side of midnight
If I'm gonna fuck it up, might as well supersize

Soft and tender is too cliché, like it more al dente
Clamp down with those canines and tear my tattooed skin away
Leader of the whole pack, I know you love to handle that
If you give this dog a bone, can I bury it around the back?
Approach at a different angle, repent at your lady chapel
I'll sweeten up the deal, promise to eat up all my pineapple
We've done love and loyalty, both caught running from the scene
Chivalry may be dead but lust is bursting at the seams
Doing mental gymnastics with all of my tactics
No hole in my logic or in these prophylactics

Wrap around my inseam and all the spaces in between
Are we crazy for going here again? Yeah, probably!
But the pressure's extra large and my drive is fully charged
It's just for tonight I do declare, solemnly

So supersize it!
Some may say that I get what I ask for
I'm at peace with being an attention whore
Picking the remnants off the bedroom floor
So supersize it!
Another round of "what could possibly go wrong?"
Did the thing and bleached my hair blonde
You know me, I'm just a lil' ticking timebomb
Tick, tick, tick on the bad side of midnight
If I'm gonna fuck it up, might as well supersize

Nobody's business but our own
So use your tongue and make me moan
Squeeze your head between my thighs
I promise it's just for tonight

Drag your nails, scratch and slap
Go ahead and leave your mark
If there's only one thing we get right
It's our ability to supersize

How many times can we do this dance?
Can we chalk it up to circumstance?
Said that we would make no promises
So take this chance and run with it

So supersize it!
Some may say that I get what I ask for
I'm at peace with being an attention whore
Picking the remnants off the bedroom floor
So supersize it!
Another round of "what could possibly go wrong?"
Did the thing and bleached my hair blonde
You know me, I'm just a lil' ticking timebomb
Tick, tick, tick on the bad side of midnight
If I'm gonna fuck it up, might as well supersize

Hello again, my dear old friend

I'm coming hot and fast, guide me in

Pride on the floor, inhibitions to the side

Time to open-open-open wide

Yeah, that's how we - how we supersize

Ryan: I may have quite a few chart-toppers notched but I don't consider myself an expert by any means in knowing what will be a hit or not. I will go out on a wild limb though and call it now that this song will very much be a hit. The track is nothing short of infectious, energetic, sultry, which all mixed together creates a sonic environment that is super fun, memorable, and yes... also freaky. The personalities and the voices mesh very well with that and the clear chemistry there shows, but I must compliment you Andrea for the incredible run that you are on. It feels like with each new release you are coming into and growing as an artist which is the trajectory you want to be on regardless of age or how many releases are behind you. The genre and the pace may change but it still feels like an Andrea release and that's a positive. "Wet American Dream" was in my opinion one of the strongest singles that came out in 2025 and I think this next LP from you is continuing to shape up to be a very high mark in pop music this year.

Andrea: Thank you so much, hun! This new era really does feel like I've hit the ground running and I believe all of that excitement, anticipation and joy is translating within the music. Full pedal to the metal, bb! Just like the BPM, the only way is up! Coming into my thirties and fast approaching the 15 year benchmark in the industry, I really do feel like I've hit a new stride and discovered a sense of freedom. The girl who was trying so hard to be seen as an adult on the last album really is one now and it feels effortless. Everything surrounding this album cycle just feels right. Thank you for the kind words, Ryan. I appreciate it and it also tickles me to know you've been bumping these new tracks. Never had you pinned as a dancefloor diva! Mwah!

Kara: Holy fuck, the volatile combinations are always the ones that work best! Andrea and Billy on a track together in 2026 isn't something I expected, but it works to perfection. Andrea, this run of singles for the next era is getting a girl hyped, the swagger, the attitude and confidence is off the chain. I love the trade-off with Billy and just how infectious this track is. A dancefloor banger in every sense of the word and I'm all for this next era!
