Forever, Stronger, Together is a song by rising pop and R&B girl group CLEO, serving as their first official standalone release ahead of their as-yet-unannounced project. Following an in-house talent search programme from record label Royale Vices & Virtues INC in 2025, the five girls were whittled down initially from thousands of applicants down to a top fifty before eventually being scaled down to the final five girls that made the cut and officially formed the girl group CLEO under the banner of Royale Vices & Virtues INC. Arriving as the debut single it’s thought that the in-house expectation for the group is high with their first four singles mapped out as part of a debut E.P which will indicate their readiness to succeed in the music industry ahead of an expected debut album run that the label a lot of resources behind.
Arriving as the formative moment in the group’s career and serving as a true introduction to the group, the track positions CLEO as a unity-driven act built on connection, resilience and shared ambition. While details surrounding their future body of work remain under wraps, the release signals the first impression of their artistic direction, vocal harmony and message of empowerment. Early critical reaction has praised the single while noting that the track feels like an intentional introduction to CLEO’s ethos and overall message, presenting them not as individual stars, but as a collective force defined by trust, growth and mutual support.

Written in December 2025 by singers Chloe Rae Brooks, Olivia Monroe and Oriana Cruz alongside a batch of songs that will form the nucleus of their debut E.P, the girls wrote and recorded the tracks within weeks of them being officially confirmed as the final five selected to form the group. Lyrically the track leans into the groups strengths as vocalists, blending pop balladry with subtle R&B and soul influences. The songs lyrical focus centres on perseverance through adversity, shared dreams and the strength in standing side by side, themes that mirror the groups own journey, making it a clear first choice as the lead single from the group in order to help establish their identity from the offset of their career. Rather than spotlighting a single lead voice, the track is carefully structured to allow each member a moment to shine, which reinforces the idea that the songs message as well as the message of the group as a whole is a communal one rather than an individual one. This approach has been praised by listeners as a refreshing statement of unity in a genre often drive by solo narratives and pitting rivalries and individual ambition ahead of the collective aims.

Recorded at the newly constructed state of the art RVV Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California which will now serve as an official in-house recording studio for the label Royale Vices & Virtues INC, the track was produced by UK based artist and producer Deneil alongside label head Imani Jasmine Woods, the track features a polished yet emotive production style, anchored by piano-led instrumentation and a rhythmic dynamic that help give the song it’s anthemic weight. Released through Royale Vices & Virtues INC and made available as a digital download, for weekly airplay and across all major streaming platforms, “Forever, Stronger, Together” sets a confident foundation for CLEO’s future, giving anticipation for their career path ahead. The track will be officially available from January 4, 2026.

Song Description;

The track begins with a warm, atmospheric instrumental, the sound of a piano sequence can be heard underneath some ambient studio textures, gentle synth and soft percussion, creating a tender but cinematic backdrop to the track. Chloe Rae Brooks takes the lead for the opening verse, her soft angelic vocals adding to the tender ballad nature of the instrumental, “We were forged in combat, through tribulations and trials/Facing our fears together/Through all the rejections and denials/It's been a journey, girls/We cannot deny/There’s nobody else we’d rather have stood by our sides.” which immediately highlights a girl power, in this together vibe for the songs lyrical direction. Tiana Monet’s voice immediately follows Chloe’s as Tiana gets an opportunity to finish the opening verse, her smooth RnB vocal tone balancing her lyric’s strong soul and gospel vibe, “We’ll raise each other up/In this together/This will bond us forever.” and ends the opening verse on a strong empowerment message, feeling like a collective statement rather than an individual one.

As the second verse arrives, the instrumental remains measured as the songs lyrical message takes priority. The light piano chords and steady rhythmic percussion pulse underneath the song, the keys of the piano rising slightly as the song progresses. Olivia Monroe takes the bulk of the second verse, giving a strong female pop vocal delivery “We’ve already come this far girls, you can lean on me/Foundations built together wishing on stars/We’re all fighting for the same dream/We’re a force to be reckoned with when we’re stood side by side.” is once again quickly followed on by Tiana’s vocal once more adding a soul and gospel tinge in both vocal delivery and lyrical content to finish the second verse, “We’re a sisterhood, bonded through this/Every step of the journey/Every part of the ride.” as the music builds towards the ending of the second verse, you can feel a sense of urgency as the piano keys begin to swell and swoon over the track.

The songs pre-chorus arrives as Oriana Cruz takes vocal duty with the bmp from the percussion and rhythm section of the instrumental increases, allowing Oriana to deliver her pre-chorus with an energy and flow of her own, “When the world tries to bring us down/Watch a Queen adjust her crown/Check ourselves in the mirror, see how we shine/Know that we’ve got this/This is our time.” which adds an extra dimension to the songs lyrics and theme as the element of self-confidence and belief in each other comes through, it’s delivered with an attitude and self-assurance and perfectly balances the opening verses content and message of empowerment and strength in numbers.
The piano comes in more prominently as the songs chorus arrives and all five girls share vocal harmonies for the first time on the track, reinforcing the songs overall message, “Forever stronger together, unstoppable desire/When we’re supporting each other, we’ll climb even higher/Forever stronger together, side by side/Every step of the journey/Every part of the ride.” which really drives home the message and creates an anthemic moment within the song, giving it a primary selling point as a single but also delivering a chorus that is tailor made for the thirty second attention span, tik-tok aspect of engagement also.

The final verse of the track is fully dedicated to Leilani Monet, following on from the chorus it retains that same big anthemic hook of the chorus, driven by the songs emotive front and center piano sequence, it allows Leilani the opportunity to shine vocally, delivering a strong ballad heavy verse with the space for vocal runs that truly show off her ability as a powerhouse vocalist, “You can lean on me when this journey gets tough/We’ve come too far to just give up/Nothing worth having ever comes easy/Gotta hustle and grind/I know we’ll achieve our dream/I’mma fight for my girls/I know my girls are gonna fight for me/Together we believe.” which allows the song to truly drive home its overall message, giving a feeling of bonds, sisterhood as well as general empowerment. The final verse serves to leave a lasting impression before the songs rhythmic pre-chorus and powerfully catchy chorus can be heard once more before the song fades out to it’s natural conclusion.

“We were forged in combat, through tribulations and trials
Facing our fears together
Through all the rejections and denials
It's been a journey, girls
We cannot deny
There’s nobody else we’d rather have stood by our sides

We’ll raise each other up
In this together
This will bond us forever

We’ve already come this far girls, you can lean on me
Foundations built together wishing on stars
We’re all fighting for the same dream
We’re a force to be reckoned with when we’re stood side by side

We’re a sisterhood, bonded through this
Every step of the journey
Every part of the ride

When the world tries to bring us down
Watch a Queen adjust her crown
Check ourselves in the mirror, see how we shine
Know that we’ve got this
This is our time

Forever stronger together, unstoppable desire
When we’re supporting each other, we’ll climb even higher
Forever stronger together, side by side
Every step of the journey
Every part of the ride

You can lean on me when this journey gets tough
We’ve come too far to just give up
Nothing worth having ever comes easy
Gotta hustle and grind
I know we’ll achieve our dream
I’mma fight for my girls
I know my girls are gonna fight for me
Together we believe

When the world tries to bring us down
Watch a Queen adjust her crown
Check ourselves in the mirror, see how we shine
Know that we’ve got this
This is our time

Forever stronger together, unstoppable desire
When we’re supporting each other, we’ll climb even higher
Forever stronger together, side by side
Every step of the journey
Every part of the ride”

Erica: my hairbrush has no more bristles after I sang this song into it.

Nina: luckily we are fresh off the cass-ettes tour so our choreography was killer.

Billy: No wonder Neily has been hyping this up to me. What a fucking impressive debut. We've had a lot of brilliant girl bands popping up over the last few years but there's something about you ladies that instantly remind me of the glory days of music groups. Alongside the unity, there's also a strong sense of individuality even just through your vocal deliveries alone. Mastering the balance of working as a unit but not losing yourself within the mix is a difficult thing to do but you seem to have already grasped it with this release. I'm getting flavours of SYNCO, GirlSpice and dare I say...us ;) Looking forward to hearing what you've got coming up next throughout the year!

Cem Bünyamin: Gosh this was an amazing debut girls this song slaps hard, all of you bring something unique to the group and that’s often quite rare, plus you are all fit as like so that’s always a plus in my eyes.

Ooc - Oh my god I love this, lyrically this is fantastic I am always jealous of how amazing your lyrics are, this is one of the best debuts and I personally can’t wait to see what else you’ve been cooking up!

Olivia: OMG Erica and Nina, there's always space for a sixth and seventh member in our group. I think we actually don't have a cute one OR a sassy one ... I'll let you both figure out which one is which! ;)

Chloe: Hey Billy! It's been such a great experience creating and recording these first few songs with Deneil, he really made the process feel a lot less scary than it could have been. I just hope he hasn't overhyped us but I'm glad that we've lived up to those expectations with this track. Right now the girl group field is definitely a stacked one, so it's gonna be tough to compete with these girls but I definitely think there's a little something special about us. I think putting ourselves with great people in the studio and understanding our individual strengths and weaknesses is what will help us hopefully become all that we want to become in the next few years. Wow, GirlSpice and Weekend are definitely inspirations and what those SYNCO girls have gone on to achieve individually is insane ... maybe your expectations are a little high, but I think we can definitely do some great things. xoxo

Tiana: Thanks so much Cem, I'm so glad you enjoyed our song. I feel like we definitely all bring something different and get a chance to show that off in this track in particular so it's cool that you felt that way too. With yourself dropping new music and us girlies debuting, it feels like there's a little youth movement going on. Feels like a pretty cool club to be part of, right?! xoxox

OOC: Thank you, out of the songs I've written for the group so far, this is one that I was most unsure about. So it's good to know that they're decent. It's a little change-up writing songs for a girl group, so it's great to know that you enjoy the debut so much. I've got a few more songs lined up for them, so hopefully they'll be out pretty soon! :)

Ryan: Given the rather massively popular girl groups over the last two decades or so that have left an impact on the industry, I know expectations tend to be quite high for any newcomers in the field. The fact that you all went through a talent search process and ended up writing and recording an EP-worth of songs so quickly after is a good indicator that you're forging your own path forward. Personally I think this is a great first effort to show the world what you're capable of. The sound is expansive and lends itself to be quite powerful in its own way. This is a wonderful launching pad that I'm sure will only continue to go up from here. I love Chloe Rae's vocals to start the song off, I think that was a brilliant choice. Excited to hear what's in store for you all further into this year and beyond/

Chloe: It does feel like there's always been such a high expectation for girl groups and right now it feels like the most crowded category to fall into, so it's definitely a little scary to come into that competitive field. I think we're all individually pretty ambitious and competitive in our own ways and have shown our fight just to get into the group in the first place. We've been working pretty hard to get things moving, we're so happy with the progress we've made on our debut E.P and I think it serves as a little teaser introduction to what we can offer. We're working with some pretty great people in the studio and they're helping us figure out our own identity as we go. Thank you so much, it's crazy to think that you've even heard our songs let alone picked out a vocal of mine to praise, it's greatly appreciated. Hopefully we can continue to impress!
