Tennessean: The hometown hero @EGSummers was clearly the fan favorite of the two superstars that took centerstage over the weekend in Nashville. However, @RyanRossHernandez embraced his role, supporting Ellie-Grace as she took the helm as the proverbial popstar with an uber-confident performance.

Pitchfork: Many questioned how Ellie-Grace Summers and Ryan Ross Hernandez were going to make their first headlining shows together work with only 3 songs from their forthcoming joint album out in the world. The duo proved their shape-shifting abilities as they tackled a 22-song setlist that spanned their respective solo careers, finding creative ways to use the other, be it if it was Hernandez hopping on lead guitar for an Ellie-Grace track, or Summers' assuming vocals on a RRH-led tune.

NYTimes: The Hernandez-Summers tandem put on a big-budget spectacle that featured dozens of dancers, a 12-person live band, pre-taped cinematic interludes, and a whole lot of music. The pair prove their collaboration is stadium-ready and bursting at the seams for a lengthy world tour in the near future (if Studio60 Records ever removes the project from post-production hell).

Billboard: Ryan Ross Hernandez has been criticized in the past for going through the motions during live shows. His collaboration with Ellie-Grace Summers is proof that the country-pop singer has injected new life into RRH’s two-decade plus career. The duo are having the time of their lives performing together and fans are loving every second of it.

ThatMusicSite: The most memorable moments during @EGSummers and @RyanRossHernandez back-to-back nights at the Nissan Stadium in Nasvhille were the less choreographed ones like when the former-lovers-turned-collaborators sang an acoustic version of Ellie-Grace's 2019 hit "Call On Me" with Ryan Ross Hernandez assuming the role of Billy in the performance. Elsewhere on the setlist, EGS and RRH traded epic guitar solos on their single "Company Amongst the Madness", and got the audience grooving with their steamy cover of Layla & Joshua Grimmie’s "Forbidden Honey"

JoshysSoldier: Hi @RyanRossHernandez! Maybe instead of covering his work, you could actually acknowledge and support Joshua in his recovery like a real friend. Though I guess you no longer have his name in your mouth because you don't have a comeback album to launch and promote. Oops.

EndlessSummers: @JoshysSoldier Just because he hasn't tweeted anything it doesn't mean Ryan is no longer friends with him and doesn't wish him the best. He literally performed one of his songs ffs. Not everybody lives out their lives on Twitter.
