oh,it was cute.i just pictured you shaking your fist while saying it. they...what?! i think i must have fainted after reading that.....nope.that is what you wrote. um..how do you feel about this? i am not sure how to feel about disembodied children of mine running around. karoliena has changed immensely since being married and all,but at the heart of things? she is still a very prideful person. she probably was gritting her teeth the entire time she wrote to you. she does hate asking for anything.

whew. i dont know either. i know her well enough she wont feel slighted if we say no. but she may call the whole thing off. she doesnt know the fathers of cassie's kids from adam. hell,i only know jason smith was involved. is he the father of all three? your guess is good as mine. but i know karoliena wont just take some random instant baby mix. what if they have a boy and later he meets marlena and we have to have a really awkward conversation with her? on the other hand...karoliena and cassie are pretty much tv moms. there would be a good home involved.

i will put it this way,i'd trust karoliena completely with marlena. if something happened to both of us,say we stepped into a wormhole and ended up transported to the 234th century? id want marlena to be with karoliena and cassie. with the ...um..history? i imagine that is why karoliena asked you before saying anything to me. i know i will certainly feel odd seeing what would have been the product of karoliena and i. if you give your blessing and your promise to...help,ill go along with it. it would be too surreal and odd without you there.

um..that is some favor you asked of us. ada and i discussed it and...we'll do it. as you can imagine,she wasnt exactly thrilled about the idea.i think its best for every one if nobody ever knows the true lineage of this child. especially out of respect for my wife.

oh my god! thank you guys soooo much. you both deserve the best thing i can give...which is sadly just my aunt's crepe recipe. but you should know i dont use that recipe lightly. you guys have made a very happy summers' family! i promise only cassie will know the father of the child. seeing as we are in the same band and will be on the road....people will get ideas.

i know this wasnt easy and i do appreciate it. we will never divulge the donor and will say it was the typical sperm bank sort of deal. you guys dont even have to see the baby if you dont wish. i would like you to though,as i like to think we are at least friendly with each other. trust me,now that i have settled down, there is an entire book of ...indiscretions i wish i could take back.

cassie has done it twice,you've done it once. i am deathly afraid i'll lose it like erica. i want to wait till after the tour,all that smoke and lack of sleep cant be good for a growing baby. if i can do this,you are more than welcome to see and hold the baby whenever you are ready.
