Gia moved over to the drivers side and unlocked the door. She got out and stood by the door. "Stop! Please!" She didn't know what to do. She thought if she tried to hurt him he would take off with Sophie. |

Scott heard Gia's voice as he lay on the floor. He managed to manoeuvre himself so that he was looking towards his own car, pushing himself to his knees as Alex laughed at his attempts to get up. Scott raised his head to see Gia there.
"GET BACK IN THE FUCKING CA-" his voice was cut short as a kick from Alex caught him clean in the robs, sending him sprawling, landing flat on his back like a helpless ragdoll, the wind kocked from him entirely as he lay there fighting for breath. |

Scott saw Gia stepping closer and looked at Alex, who was smiling and moving closer to Gia. Scott felt panic rising but he was still hardly able to move. Alex smiled at Gia again.
"You know something; you are pretty hot actually. Why not go for a real man? You leave this fucker and you and I can raise...Sophie..together. How about it?" |

As Alex walked towards Gia slowly, shaking his head, Scott managed to drag himself back to his feet, moving slowly. Alex sneered. "Is that a no then bitch? So I have to kill your husband and take my daughter away for good do I?" |

Scott sank to his knees, feeling like Gia betrayed him for the second time that morning. He felt the tears fall from his face at how easily she was prepared to step away from him, without even so much as a fight.
Alex laughed, seeing the fight fall away from Scott. He turned and walked towards the motionless figure, kicking him square in the face and knocking him back to the ground, blood spraying everywhere. |

Alex laughed at Gia. He looked down at her. "You're pathetic. Truly truly pathetic."
He walks over and stands over Scott, before kneeling down, starting to rain down punches on Scott, who could do little more than raise his hands in a poor attempt to stop the blows from coming down. |

Gia gets up and walks over to the truck, opening it. She sees Sophie in the back sleeping. "I love you so much." She grabs her and gives her a tight hug. It was amazing she had managed to sleep through all that. She kissed her head and started to walk back over to Scott now. |
