Pinkerton is my album of right now, despite being over 15 years old. Rivers Cuomo is an egotistical prat at this point, but his also deeply conflicted. He's fucking lots of groupies, and he hates himself for it as all he really wants is a proper grown-up relationship with someone. And really lyrically this record is written for shy guys to empathise with.

Pinkerton is awesome and the best Weezer album.

Rubber - Gaspard Auge & Mr. Oingo

Rubber was a weird film and the "No Reason" intro could probably sum it up. Still, the soundtrack is great and the movie was too.

El Scorcho was the turning point for Pinkerton, after that I lightened up and really took the rest of the album in. Still, have you got the Deluxe Edition which has some of the 'Black Hole' songs on it?
