Gia eventually falls asleep only to wake up to Sophie crying out. She gets up and checks on Sophie, holding her and soothing her. She rocks her gently in her arms as she coos and reaches her hand out to Gia's face. Gia smiles and kisses her cheek.
Gia: You're about the only one right now who isn't annoying me or mad at me. It seems like you're the only one who loves me right now...
She sits down and stares out the window, slowly falling asleep with Sophie laying on her, her head on Gia's shoulder and her tiny feet dangling from Gia's arms. |

Lying on the floor having woken up, Scott hears Gia get up and go to Sophie. He doesn't look round or react, but he feels a shot of pain in his stomach as Gia says Sophie is the only one who loves her. He shakes his head.
After lying there awake for a while and hearing no movement from Gia, Scott gets up and climbs into bed. He faces away from her, sighing loudly. |

Gia, still in the chair, wakes up and realizes she was still holding Sophie. She gets up and lays her back in her crib and then looks at the bed. She sees Scott in it and decides to go back to the chair even though it was kind of uncomfortable. She grabbed one of Sophie's blankets and curled up in a ball then stared out the window. |

Scott wakes up and looks over at Gia. He can tell from her breathing that she's awake. He goes to the bathroom and then comes back, putting his shirt and jeans on and sitting down on a chair, turning on the laptop again. |

Gia hears him but doesn't turn her head from her view. She decided that it was pointless because they were just gonna argue again and she didn't have the strength to argue. She just sighed a little and kept staring. |
