He manages to slip his sweater off without waking her up and puts it over Layla to keep her warm. He cuddles up and puts his head gently resting on hers. After a while he drifts off to sleep.

Looking out of the window, he realises that he and Layla have slept there all night. He feels happy to have held her all night. Shifting his weight, he tries not to wake her up.
