Scott nods when Nevaeh speaks. "Yeah Gi you have to wake up to see this. No shouting and arguing or anything." He smiles a little.
He looks up at her. "I'm sure she knows we're all here. When she decides to wake up we are all gonna get in trouble for fussing over her so much. You know what she's like."
He smiles and then turns to Layla, holding her hand.
"How are my babies?" |

Layla smiles and laughs. "She'd probably fall out of the bed at this sight. She'll know that we really love her and you two can stop arguing for her sake now." She looks at Scott. "They are fine. Sophie keeps walking all around the house and Mark keeps chasing her. It's so cute. Bailey's just as quiet as ever. She likes my wigs though." She giggles. |

Scott is sat beside Gias bed holding her hand, as he has been for the last 5 days, when his phone starts to vibrate. Slightly shocked, he looks down at the phone to see Mark's name on the screen. "Sorry babe I better take this," he whispers to Gia before answering the phone. "Hello?"
"Daddy!" Comes the voice from the other end of the phone, and Scott smiles before he starts tearing up.
"Sophie! Hi princess, are you doing OK?"
"Yes daddy," she says in her baby voice, causing a tear to drop from Scotts eye.
"Are you being a good girl for Aunt Layla and Uncle Mark?"
"Yeeeeah", she says, laughing.
"Awwww I'm glad Soph. Is your sister OK?"
"Bailey sleepy," she says. Scott laughs a little.
"Look after her princess. Daddy loves you both very much OK?"
"'Ove daddy!"
When the phone call ends a while later, after Scott spoke to Mark, he hangs up and starts to cry.
"That was Sophie babe. She said she's fine." He smiles a little as he talks to Gia. |
